Mayor Theresa “Teri” Branella of Brooklawn, NJ receives the State Proclamation Award. During the Brooklawn Fall Festival, Mayor Branella was announced by Senator Nilsa Cruz-Perez and Congressman Donald Norcross. In addition to those present on stage—Freehold Township Commissioners Ed McDonald and Virginia Betteridge.
The community event in Brooklawn, NJ took place during the Brooklawn Fall Festival sponsored by Indigo Dispensary. Hundreds of residents gathered to enjoy fall festivities with stage performances and various activities. Vendors include small business owners who travelled from Philadelphia, Cherry Hill, and even long distances such as New York and Ohio. From wine-tasting to cheese vendors, the festival was sprinkled with artist galleries and cuisine.
Mayor Branella served on Brooklawn City Council since 2001. The Fall Festival is just one of many successes organized by Mayor Branella and her council, which includes Mayor-Elect Julie McCleary.
